I am using two of these bullet cameras.  They present a great picture and seem to be a very nice product. However, I am still having problems with the halo with IR at night with one of them. And it has a halo regardless of zoom setting. Any ideas? I attached some pixs, one of daytime - great picture - and one at night - not usable.

Well, no success in uploading the pix. You may see them at the links below.

Hello Daniel and Brad.  Just wanted to update you with the results.  I received the replacement bezels for the two cameras.  I installed them this afternoon and now can see the difference with the IR on.  The halo is completely gone and the pictures are great.  It also seems to increased the range of the irs.  Very nice.  It is really surprising that such a small amount of reflecting area causes so much of a problem.  Also, if you have a use for the removed bezels (white inside) I would be glad to ship them to you.  They are new. Seems like if we knew what non relective paint worked best with them, they could be used. Anyway, if you can use them, send me a shipping address and I will do so.

Thanks for the help and fast attention to this problem.  It is totally resolved. Best Wishes, Larry

Good morning Larry,

The properties of infrared light is very unique. The low frequency and long wave length of the infrared light I believe lends itself to less loss of energy upon reflection than visible light. As for the bezels keep them there is no need to send them back.
