Hi,

we are using 5+ HKVision DVR for cctv's.. for backup of recording we are currently using virtual box to run xp(5 vm's 1 for each dvr ) on it with remote netbackup v1.
is there any better solution to backup 5 dvr back to separate hdd using 1 software on single pc..

Your options are what the dvr supports. Typically ftp is the option to use unless the dvrs have esata. I need to understand your redundancy needs better and what are the exact dvrs you have to give you a better suggestions.
