I have a new PENDVR-EL16-4M and adding IP cameras.  In the ADD Cameras I can see the cameras and when I click ADD they go red.  In the monitor I get a message “Other network errors”.

 

Any thoughts? 

Also when is the best time of day to call for setup assistance?

Also I can get to the Cameras directly from my home network.  

Home router connected to POE

DVR connected to POE

Cameras connected to POE

Laptop connected to home router. 

I can get to the POE from laptop

I can get to the DVR from Laptop

I can get to the Cameras from Laptop

In the DVR I can search for cameras and it see them I can add then and the status goes RED..

Ideas?

The PENDVR-EL16-4M is an Elite Recorder and the IPOB-SBE41RZ  are Sibell Cameras, these would connect to the Elite Recorder via Onvif, when you add these cameras either manual add or search add you must edit the password as Elite recorders default is Admin as username and admin as the password, for Sibell the user is admin and the password is 123456 unless you change this. Edit the password and let us know if this is the issue that you are having.

PW was changed during the IP change on the Cameras.  I can open the cameras interface on the laptop using the new password and IP.  In the DVR the error is “Other network errors”.  On camera add I left the manufacture as Onvif and changed the PW to the one I set when changing the IP of the camera and the one that I use to log into the cameras web interface.
