I have been using the Sibell NVMS software for about a month now and after a power failure at home, It stopped but the DVR down stairs still worked.
I found that when the power came back on, it changed the IP address so I changed it on the NVMS software and all was fine. We had another failure today and I went thru the same motion but no luck.
The NVMS software says the node is not on line but the DVR says it is connected. I checked the IP and found it was changed to xxx.xxx.1.xxx. My network is xxx.xxx.0.xxx
I have now set a static IP, using my network xxx.0.xxx I assigned the new IP to the port (s) on my router. I use canyouseeme.org and it does not see the DVR I have also made the appropriate changes on the NVMS software but they just do not see each other.
Has anyone had such issues?
Be sure to set a static IP address on the recorder so that the DHCP server on your router does not give it a different IP address. You can do this by unticking the "DHCP" button and inputting the IP address in some cases this information will already be inputted if you wish to use this ip then simply apply and save.
