In this article I am going to go over adding PRIME IP cameras to Sibell NVR's.

You will first have to find the IP address of your NVR. To do this you will use our Sibell IP Finder

You can either have your NVR set to a dynamic IP address which will automatically snyc to your network, or set up a static IP by using this tool. Once you have the IP address you will then use Internet Explorer to open up the web interface. It should look something like this: http://192.168.10.104. You also may need to add the IP to your compatibility settings which is under Internet Explorer Tools.

The second step is to figure out if we are using a NVR with built in POE or an External POE switch on your local network. This will help us decide what we need to assign the IP of the PRIME camera. In this example we are using a our NVR-SB4ME-4P, which has 4 ports of built in POE. Since it is an internal POE switch we will need to find out the subnet of that switch. You can find this under FUNCTION PANEL/NETWORK/TCP IP/ INTERNAL ETHERNET PORT. In this example it was set to: Address: 10.151.151.1 / Subnet: 255.0.0.0.  Example of this bellow:

(If your NVR does not have a built in POE you will use your local network to address the camera)

Now we will have to modify the IP address of the PRIME IP CAMERA. For this we will need to us the SADP tool. You can get that here: SADP TOOL.

You are going to have to match the previous step to the camera. You will first have to connect the camera to your local network with local power, or a POE switch/injector OR you can hard wire into the POE switch of the NVR directly with a computer to modify the IP address of the camera.

After you sucessuly modify the IP address of the PRIME camera you will then want to Manually add the camera to the NVR. In this example the new IP address of the Prime camera is 10.151.151.201.

You have now successfully added a Prime camera to a Sibell NVR!

Your feedback is welcomed!

Thank you

Some cameras will come with the network set to DHCP, which means that your routers DHCP server may assign the camera a new IP address.
