So the date and time are wrong on my two Sibell IP Cameras. Off by 1 hour. My NVR is showing the correct date and time. What is the best practice regarding date and time on the actual cameras? How do I change the date and time on my two cameras? Should they sync with NVR? Should date and time on camera’s be on or off?
I did not find a way to actually configure the date and time on the camera’s themselves via the Sibell NVR.
If you have Sibell IPC’s paired with a Sibell NVR then the cameras should sync their time with the NVR. If that is not happening then I would recommend looking for a firmware update on the IPC’s and the NVR.
Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org including your order information and the system information for both cameras and the NVR. From there we can provide you with updates and instructions on upgrading the system.
