i added two new IP cams to the TriDVR. how do i get the vids/images sent to the TriDVR like the analog cams do automatically?

i setup the cams to send to a NAS/FTP server but that isn't the TriDVR. i'd prefer the vids/images go to the TriDVR so i can search via TriDVR

Hello,

In the camera type option at the DVR interface is where you enable the IP cameras to be used. This can only be enabled at DVR as it will have to reboot after change.

i have the two IP cams enabled. live stream at DVR console displays stream ok. it is when i go to "search" on day/time on IP cam 15 or 16, screen shows no image. its black where i assumed the playback image would be.

Double check what resolution the cameras are set to in their web-service. It could be that you trying to record to high of a resolution for the dvr. What is the DVR model number?

TRIDVR-ELE16M

well the 2 cams now i can't access. the infrared lights i see on but little activity showing on the 4-port PoE switch that came with the cams. weird. i don't have a 12-v adapter to hook up to verify if its camera or switch. guess i'll go to fry's and get a PoE switch.

so for now i won't be able to test your resolution.
