Just curious to know if you guys have information on how to mount an IPOB-EL1MPIR50 externally to a 1 gang junction/electrical box.

Typically we use the ABS or plastic version. Then drill a hole in the lid. Mount camera to lid and pull cable through hole so connection is inside.

I normally don't use a single gang box to mount my cameras, I will either use a double gang low voltage or one of the round low voltage boxes.  I am going to upload a couple of pictures of how mine look. 20131202_075522.jpgImage Enlarger

This would work with a blank faceplate to cover the box and mount the camera on.
