I have an install I just did and a customer is requesting that between the hours of  7 pm and 7am that channels 1-4 on his security system be setup so he can get an email if any motion occurs on the units.  I am sure it can be done but can't remember the process from awhile ago.

Can someone give me a quick step by step or a how to guide link/video.

Thanks

Adam

Unfortunately the recorder does not have the ability to send emails based on the Schedule. You can set your email to not to notify you based on a schedule, Unfortunately this is not available for many Clients or Email providers.

Hi Adam it depends on the unit and firmware version if it has that ability.  If it does you go into EVENT then Detect options. You should see a button next to period labeled "setup" That affects the timing on emails for motion.  This worked on the older generation of dvrs. I would assume it does the same on this generation.
