Will my NVR work standing vertical on edge. It fits nice that way and I was wondering if it would affect the hard drives operation. I don't think it would.

In my opinion there is no problem of putting the NVR in vertical stand position. Also, we have experience with DVR's working in that position for years with no problems. The only problem that I can see with that is the airflow. Make sure you are not blocking the air openings. You can use some kind of spacer.

Plenty of air flow. Its on a wire shelf, air flows very freely.
