So I’ve had smartpss on my desktop computer in both my offices at my business. I have two 16 channel dvr’s set up and it works great to view what is going on in my building while i’m there. Recently I got a mac and downloaded the software to it. I tried it out at work under the same wi-fi and network and everything worked out just famously.
Now at home I tried pulling up my cameras and none of them work. I’m not tech savy please someone with some suggestions would be great! Appreciate any and all help in advance.
You will need to open the ports of the recorder and use either your WAN IP if you are paying for a static IP address from your ISP at the recorders location or use a DDNS address. Did you purchase this recorder from us? if so we can assist you remotely, you will need to be on the same network as the recorder and have a computer with an internet connection to get remote support.
