Hello Everyone I just joined the forum, I was wondering if there is a TechproSS software for the windows 8 phone. I am upgrading to the Nokia 928 in about a week.

Hello and welcome to our forum. Unfortunately there is not an app for windows 8 yet. You could try GDMSS and see if it is compatible with your Phone.

My daughter has WP8 and I can confirm that this app works with the 8 channel ultimate mini DVR I just got. I'm sure the paid app would work too. Of course I have every reason to upgrade to an 820 myself!

The interesting thing is that on my 720 with W7.5, DMSS will import the channel list but hangs opening live stream, saying can't initialize playback. I was wondering if there's a setting I could tweak in the dvr since it's almost there, but I just think it's an issue with compatability at this point. Bummer. Good luck.

Now having gotten a lumia 820 windows phone, I can confirm that wdmss lite works perfectly with the ultimate mini dvr. I'd guess it would be fine for all SCK dvdr/nvr. Finger swipe/pinch/squeeze on screen moves the ptz perfectly, alarm outputs work great to set off my siren, snapshot works- all good. Nice program, perfect match for windows phone 8 users.
