unable to add dvr to device list onto PSS software

I am trying to add the dvr to my laptop for remote viewing. The pss software is loaded, but I can't add the device/dvr. I get to the settings manage/device manage screen. And I try to manually add the device (ip address is 6*.8*, 1**.18*), port = 37777, but when I go to the device list, it is not there. thank you

Make sure that you click on the ADD button on the add device window, then make sure that you click on the OK button on the device manage screen. Also, change the Type: to DVR
