There is a page here in the forums that say we can access the dvr via browsers other than MSIE. But if I go to the DVR using any of these other browsers, I can't log in and basically it gives me a scattered page with nonsense. I have tried to search for the plugins myself but so far no luck. I have plugins for IP cameras for firefox that work great. So how can I find them for the DVR?

Also I can no longer installed the cab on new installations of MSIE 8. Windows tells me it's from an untrusted, unsigned source and there seems to be no work around. I'm sure I' not the only one with this problem.

Thanks.

The Plugin that you are looking for is IE Tab. Keep in mind that you are just using one tab of the non IE browser and this still utilizes your IE browser as the rendering engine, if this Plugin does not work make sure your IE Settings are correct.

IE Tab:

Chrome

Firefox

Opera  : This is a Solution the utilizes the Neptune Plugin

Safari : NONE

If you're utilizing this to access your Recording device we have only tested Chrome and Firefox Tabs like shockwave199 pointed out. There are other methods to utilize Safari and Opera with Internet Explorers Rendering engine but these will have you edit some files like the one solution i pointed out using the Neptune Plugin.
