The IPOD-SB4IR28AD is a 4 Megapixel (2592 × 1520) IP camera from our Sibell line of surveillance products. It is a turret dome-style camera that has a 2.8 fixed lens. In order to make sure that all of its features are properly supported you should only use it with our Sibell NVRs.
You will also have the ability to listen to and record sound through this camera’s built-in microphone. There is also a built-in speaker and the combination of mic and speaker means that this camera gives you the ability to use it for two-way audio. The speaker also allows it to use active deterrence through customizable audio files and blue and red warning lights which flash alternately.
You can use this camera both indoors and outside (it has an intrusion rating of IP66). The connections do need to be protected from the elements or they will corrode over time. The ‘Recommended Accessories’ section of this page will show you some products which are designed for this purpose.
This camera has features like Headlight Compensation, Backlight Compensation, true 120dB Wide Dynamic Range, and 3D Digital Noise Reduction to help deal with diverse lighting situations. It is also rated for up to 164 feet so it can even see in complete darkness.
