The IPVD-SB8IRZA is an 8 Megapixel (3840 × 2160) IP camera from our Sibell line of surveillance products. It is a vandal dome-style camera that has a 2.8 to 12 mm motorized lens that can be zoomed in and out to get the precise shot you want. It should only be used with our Sibell NVRs in order to make sure that all of its features are properly supported. You will also have the ability to listen to and record sound through this camera’s built-in microphone.
This camera has features like Headlight Compensation, Backlight Compensation, true 120dB Wide Dynamic Range, and 3D Digital Noise Reduction to help deal with diverse lighting situations. It is also rated for up to 164 feet so it can even see in complete darkness.
You can use this camera both indoors and outside (it has an intrusion rating of IP67). The connections do need to be protected from the elements or they will corrode over time. The ‘Recommended Accessories’ section of this page will show you some products which are designed for this purpose.
