The IPOD-SB8IRZ is an 8 Megapixel (3840 × 2160) IP camera from our Sibell line of security camera equipment. It is a turret dome-style camera that has a motorized varifocal lens that can be adjusted to get the exact view you want. You can also use this camera’s built-in mic to record audio. It should only be used with our Sibell NVRs in order to make sure that all of its features function correctly.
The motorized lens has a range of 2.8 -12mm which allows you to have a short/wide shot, a long narrow shot, or anywhere in between. This camera has Headlight Compensation, Backlight Compensation, true 120dB Wide Dynamic Range, and 3D Digital Noise Reduction to help adapt to challenging light conditions. The infrared is rated for up to 164 feet, supporting viewing at longer distances.
You can use this camera both indoors and outside (it has an intrusion rating of IP67). The connections need to be protected from the elements. The ‘Recommended Accessories’ section of this page will show you some products which are designed for this purpose.
