The IPOB-SB4IRZ-LPR is a 4MP (2592 ×1520) from our Sibell line of surveillance camera products. You should use this bullet-style camera with a Sibell NVR in order to make sure that all of the features work correctly. This camera’s 2.8 to 12 mm motorized varifocal lens means that you can adjust the zoom from an NVR, computer, or mobile device.
This camera is designed for License Plate Recognition (LPR) and is much better at this function than other styles of cameras. It is recommended to mount this camera 10 – 26 feet from the target area where you want to catch the plates. Once recorded you will be able to search your footage by the plate number.
With the IP67 rating, this camera is intended for use outdoors and inside but connectors need to be protected from the elements or they will corrode over time. Please check the ‘Recommended Accessories’ section on this page for products that are designed for this purpose.
