Hello Ken all you need to do is connect the positive from the maglock to the NC port on the Dx board then the negative to the ground to any power supply ground, make sure your providing 12v power to the common (com) on the Dx board also.

There you can find the basics of how connecting the readers, locks, etc. the battery backup should be connected to the board controlling the these outputs, so while the power supply of the access control board is powered, is also recharging the battery at the same time.
