The IPVD-ELES4IR28A-AI is an Elite series 4MP wedge style vandal dome IP camera.  Equipped with a 2.8mm fixed lens, you can attain a horizontal field of view of 103°, a vertical view of 55­° and a diagonal view of 122°. At a 4MP (2560 x 1440) video output in realtime 30fps this camera can deliver some of the sharpest images you’ll find in its class. 

Ensuring you receive the best picture at any time of day, this camera comes equipped with Wide Dynamic Range as well as Starlight™ technology. WDR will properly balance out video by enhancing darker and brighter portions of an image. Starlight™ produces color video in areas that have minimal illumination. The IR (infrared) capabilities of this vandal dome is another impressive feature, providing you with IR lighting up to 164 feet away.

With the H.265 video compression codec, your camera utilizes up to 70% less storage on your hard drives. H.265 reduces both bitrate and storage requirements when used with an Elite Series NVR or DVR with H.265 compression capabilities. Two features that should help put your mind at ease are the cameras’ Intelligent Video System (IVS) and its Smart Motion Detection (SMD). IVS uses advanced video algorithms, helping the camera to work with intelligent detection features such as tripwire, intrusion, and others. SMD analyzes person and vehicle shapes based on motion detection by a deep-learning algorithm, sending alarms only when a person or vehicle intrudes.

Power your new cameras easily using either a standard 12V DC power supply or use Power over Ethernet (PoE). PoE is supplied by an NVR or a switch through a port and uses a Cat5 cable to supply power and transmit data so you don’t have to rely on multiple connections.
