This is the new IPOB-ELES4IR28 4MP 2.8mm lens camera from our Elite series of security cameras. Thanks to 4MP clarity, you’ll have a better chance of capturing usable evidence if you are ever the victim of a crime against you or your property. With 2 times the pixels of a traditional 1080p HD security camera, you’ll get more detailed images and have the capability to digitally zoom more before pixelation occurs.

These 4MP security cameras have an IP67 rating to ensure that this can be used indoors and outdoors. This camera has been tested against dust, wind, snow, rain, and even immersion up to 1 meter for a half hour. This camera can be used in a wide variety of applications as evidenced by its ingress rating but to go even a step further, it can be used in temperatures ranging from -40°F to 140°F. From Siberia to the Sahara, this camera has you covered! 

If you’ve ever had concerns about being able to see at night or in dark areas, this camera uses IR light to make sure that you can see up to 98 feet at night, in dark buildings, and complete darkness. Additionally, this camera uses Starlight™ technology to deliver color video in low-light situations using even the most minimal ambient light available. This even has the Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) feature that assists in giving you clear details in different brightness environments by balancing the brighter and darker segments of the video.

This security camera offers so many features that make it more efficient than cameras that were around only a year ago. One of those is the use of H.265 compression that can compress video up to 40% more than the previous H.264 codec. This, in turn, will save you storage space on your NVRs hard drives by reducing video size. If you use the onboard SD slot, it will take even longer to fill up the 256GB SD card (not included).

This camera supports Intelligent Video Analysis (IVS) by using advanced video algorithms for things like Tripwire Detection and Intrusion in addition to Motion Detection, Video Tampering, Illegal Access, Network Disconnection, and many other useful warnings. Don’t forget that this camera can be powered using a standard 12V DC power supply or PoE (Power over Ethernet).
