Description
When you need to get into the game and get yourself some capable security cameras that will provide sharp, colorful video, the IPOD-ELES4IRZ from our Elite series could be just what you need. This dome camera has a motorized zoom lens and delivers real-time 30fps video at 4MP without pixelation. You can feel comfortable using this wherever you need whether inside or outside thanks to the IP67 weather rating which makes it dust resistant and protects it against water immersion for a half hour (although we don’t recommend that). Thanks to the use of the latest Starlight™ technology, this camera performs fantastically in low light environments. What this means for you is that even at night, you’ll be able to see color video as the camera maximizes the available illumination. For those instances when no ambient lighting is available, this camera comes equipped with built-in LEDs that provide IR (infrared) lighting so you can see in black and white up to 130 feet away.
Having the ability to zoom in takes this another step beyond your standard fixed lens camera. With a 2.7mm-13.5mm motorized zoom lens, you can zoom in on an area of concern so that you can see up to 5 times your basic view. Depending on placement, this could possibly allow you to see details as small as cash denominations, facial features and much more that make it a great choice for so many applications. Using some of the latest H.265 coding, this camera works to efficiently compress the video for streaming and storage, which will save you money on the cost of storage, when paired with an NVR of the same series that accepts H.265 compression. Speaking of storage, this camera has an onboard slot to be used with an SD storage card up to 256GB that you can record directly onto. Additionally, this camera uses an Intelligent Video System (IVS) that allows it to perform advanced video tasks like intrusion detection, tripwire, and other features.
We help take the guesswork out of camera placement with a range of compatible mounting brackets that allow you to be flexible in where you mount your cameras. You can choose to supply power for your camera by using a standard 12V DC power supply or you can conveniently use one network cable to handle both data and power using PoE (Power over Ethernet). While many NVRs will have PoE connections directly on the back, you may need to use a PoE switch between your cameras and NVR but if you’re ever unsure, you can contact our sales department at 866-573-8878 and enter 2 when prompted.
