The IPOB-SB5IR28 is a 5 Megapixel (2592 × 1944) IP camera from our Sibell line of surveillance products. It is a bullet-style camera that should only be paired with our Sibell NVRs in order to make sure that all of its features are properly supported.
This camera will work great both indoors and outside (it has an ingress protection rating of IP67). The connections do need to be protected from the elements or they will corrode over time. Please check the ‘Recommended Accessories’ section of this page for products designed to do this for you.
There are plenty of features on this camera to accommodate the most challenging lighting situations. These include Headlight Compensation, Backlight Compensation, Digital Wide Dynamic Range, and 3D Digital Noise Reduction. It also has Smart Infrared which is rated for up to 98 feet. This means that adjustments will be made to ensure that the area is not under or over-illuminated.
