The IPOD-ELS8IRZA-EP is a first class smart IP camera which will provide you with very impressive 4K video. It can give you 15 frames per second at 4K (3840×2160) or 25 frames per second at 3MP (2304×1296). It also uses cutting edge H.265 video compression to significantly reduce the bandwidth used by this camera and the amount of storage space used. The smart feature or Intelligent Video System (IVS) gives this camera the ability to identify and evaluate objects to determine if they have gone missing or have been abandoned in the camera’s view. You are also able to use virtual tripwires and when these lines are crossed you can have the camera (or the NVR it’s connected to) begin recording, send an email or trigger an alarm output.
This camera also has the ability to handle challenging lighting conditions. Its STARVIS™ chip set makes far better use of ambient light than a standard chip. The true WDR (120dB) feature helps to handle drastic changes in illumination levels. Back light compensation, auto gain control, auto white balance and 3D digital noise reduction are all features that help this camera to give you the best picture possible in even the most challenging locations.
The video produced by this camera is amazing and it is versatile enough to perform well in different circumstance. Its 2.7mm to 12mm motorized varifocal lens allows you to customize the cameras view. You can record audio with its built-in microphone. You can use a micro SD card to give the camera a small amount of on board memory so you can record small time frames and easily share this info. The lens allows you to detect objects at approximately 748 feet, observe objects at approximately 299 feet, recognize people at approximately 151 feet, and identify people at approximately 75 feet.
The IK10 vandal resistant rating means that it’s not delicate and the IP67 intrusion protection means that it performs very well in outdoor locations. It also supports the cutting edge ePoE which allows for significantly longer cable lengths. Previously you could only use a cable up to 328 feet and now you can run 2,624 feet at the speed of 10 Mbps or 984 feet at the speed of 100 Mbps.
