The HDVD-ELE2IRZW is an Elite series vandal dome that can provide 1080P (1920 × 1080) resolution at 30 frames per second. It has a 2.7 – 12mm motorized varifocal lens, which allows you to customize the zoom levels and field of view, specific to your surroundings.

Existing coaxial cabling infrastructure can be used with this camera to provide HD video. This means that you can easily upgrade an older analog camera system without having to replace cabling. This multi-format camera is compatible with HD-CVI, HD-TVI, AHD and Analog video formats. The On Screen Display (OSD) menu is used to select from these technologies in order to make this camera compatible with most DVRs.

This durable camera works very well indoors and outside. Its IP67 immersion rating means that it’s protected from moisture and dust penetration. It also has an IK10 impact rating to keep it from getting damaged dropping or being hit. Its 4 kV lightning rating helps to protect the camera and housing from lighting strikes.

Smart infrared technology helps this camera to work very well in situations with low or no visible illumination. This feature regulates the strength of the IR in order to adjust for the distance of an object in the camera’s view, in order to prevent the object from being over or under illuminated. This camera also has backlight compensation, head-light compensation, and digital wide dynamic range to compensate for challenging lighting conditions.

When this camera is set to 2.7mm you can detect objects at approximately 148 feet, observe objects at approximately 59 feet, recognize people at approximately 30 feet, and identify people at approximately 15 feet. When this camera is set to 12mm you can detect objects at approximately 433 feet, observe objects at approximately 173 feet, recognize people at approximately 87 feet, and identify people at approximately 43 feet.
