Here is our newest Elite 4MP Starlight IP dome camera, the IPOD-ELE4IR28-AI as part of our Elite Series of professional surveillance equipment. This PoE camera has a 4MP ½.9” CMOS image sensor and supports up to 20fps at 2688×1520 resolution and 25/30fps at 2560×1440 resolution. The H.265 codec provides a high compression rate and an ultra-low bit rate. 

This IPOD-ELE4IR28-AI supports SMD plus, which is smart motion detection enabling you to filter out false motion alerts by only being notified when there is a human or a vehicle (or both) within the camera’s view. 

*Please note that SMD does not work with just any recorder, and the unit must also support SMD either by Recorder, or it must support SMD by Camera. You can also utilize the SMD feature by adding a microSD card to the camera itself and then adding the camera manually and individually to your smartphone App to get the human/vehicle notifications. 

The IPOD-ELE4IR28-AI also supports IVS rules such as intrusion detection and virtual tripwire for additional classification and accurate detection of humans and vehicles. It has a built-in microphone which you can enable or disable depending on your location. You can add up to a 256Gb microSD card for backup recording or to use as a stand alone camera. 

Having an IP67 ingress protection rating, you can enjoy up to 98ft of infrared viewing distance along with its Starlight technology to help the camera remain in color at night so long as there is decent enough ambient light available. This camera supports BLC, HLC and WDR to support the best picture quality available.
