I purchased this DVR in hopes of using all my current cameras until I need to replace them.

8 Channel Mini 1U Tribrid HD-CVI/IP/CCTV DVR up to 4MP

TRIDVR-EL8ME4

I have set up my newer P2P / wireless via wireless connection and it is working fine. I have several other IP camera brands that the IP tool will not find for some reason but they do show up on the manufacturers IP tool. The

Maybe I am not setting up the cameras correctly so the TechVision config tool or Smart PSS will see them? The tool did see the one that I have set up nut it doesn't see any of the rest

Sorry to be vague about the model and manufacturer of the above mentioned cameras but I read in the forum rules that I cannot mention competitors products.

Secondly, will this low end camera work with the above DVR?

1MP 720p HD-CVI/TVI/AHD/Analog IR Dome Camera

Sku: HDOD-TP1IRE

The DVR brand is the Elite, But I suspect any of the Sibel or Tech Pro as long as they are High Definition CVI cameras, Analog cameras or IP cameras?

They are all different Cameras and recorders and require different tools. Please see our Downloads page for these tools found here.

Elite : Config Tool

TP : Search Tool

Sibell: IP Tool

Prime: SADP Tool

The TRIDVR-EL8ME4 will handle HD-CVI , HD-TVI Analog and IP cameras. Please open a ticket with us or call us we can go over what cameras you have and your system.
