Hi,

I'm using a TRIDVR-ELE16C that I purchased October 2016.   I am happy with the unit, but there is one annoyance about it that I didn't have with other DVRs -

When an alarm comes in via the alarm contacts, I have the DVR setup to tour a set of cameras.   I've set the latch time on this tour for 10 seconds.   On other DVR's, the video output would return to the normal "standby" screen or the camera grid I was viewing before the alarm came in.

It seems with this DVR, the tour latches and never goes back into standby mode.

Is there a possible setting I've missed that would revert the video output back to the standby screen I would like?

Thanks in advance

Hello,

If the camera is coming up full screen after the alarm is triggered and then not switching back to your main display it is because under the display settings you have not enabled "tour" and the view you want it to switch back to.

Please understand the "Latch" you're referring to is controlling how long that relay stays open/closed after it was tripped, and how long that window is up full screen. However if the view you want to switch back to is not enabled under "tour" menu then it will never switch back.

Please go to the display settings, and then to the "tour" menu. IN tour, please go through ever single "window split" view and disable all of the enabled views. Once you have them all disabled please go back to the window split you want and enable just the one view you want to change back to after the alarm camera comes up full screen.

Then test and let me know how it operates.

Thank you,
