hi folks,

I've recently purchased an Elite Series Tiny NVR model NVR-ELE8T-P. I've configured it and got a few of the cameras working. I've been trying to access it externally though a dyndns server but can't seem to access it. I can't access the cameras through the iDMSS app either.

I've done some checking and realised that I am unable to access the NVR directly on the internally assigned IP address which I've defined as 192.168.1.200 as a static IP. My router gateway is 192.168.1.1. I can ping the IP address from within my network but can't connect to the 192.168.1.200 address through a browser using the correct HTTP port.

I can access the internal Switch on the NVR which is defaulted to 10.1.1.1.

I'm out of ideas on this so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

Steve

Hello,

the Defualt HTTP port is 80 so you do not have to specify it in the browser. You do have to use internet explorer to access the nvr. Here is a link on how to configure the browser.

If you have purchased the recorder with us we can assist on this matter, this error could be multiple issues on your network. Because of this, I suggest open a chat session here http://messenger.providesuppor.....aking.html , we are here from Monday through Friday 9am to 8PM EST.

Have a computer preferably a Windows PC with an internet connection and be on the same network as the recorder.
