I have three of these that arrive yesterday and there are NO instructions inside the boxes.  I need to know how to separate the base plate1 from the camera in order to mount it.  Does is just pry apart with a screwdriver or do I need to twist it off?

Received support reply.  (Thanks.)  The base screws off, in the normal thread direction.  You can place the shaft of a long, thin screwdriver across the base and into 2 of the 4 indents (used to allow the cable to exit to the side) and unscrew the base.
