I bought a EL-M HD NVR a couple of years ago from here and it worked great. Updated my PC to WIN7 and Explorer 8 and can't get it to come up and install the active x component on the PC. I'm guessing it's not compatible. Is there a firmware update for this device anywhere? I noticed in the setup there was a USB upgrade the system using a "usb upgrade disk" but can find no other information about it.

Can anyone help, please?

Hello good day you can try running internet explore 32 bite as administrator . Try deleting your webrec file in your program folder.

Go to your c drive folder then click on the program file x83 then find the internet explorer file and once there find the iexplore right click and run as administrator. Make sure to add the ip address of the DVR/NVR and set the download unassigned activex to prompt. Hope this helps have a great day.Embarassed

What program folder for webrec? Couldn't find it anywhere. As for running as admin, and chaning active x, it made no difference (already tried that before the post). I pinged the IP address of the NVR and get a response, but the page won't load from IE8 or Chrome. It's as if it can't find the page. Probably because the Active x isn't loading. Any other suggestions?
