Re posting to follow up with the possibility  to have http URL for secondary streams to integrate to Control4 and other home automation systems that are unable to do rtsp.

There is an Article on our forum that explain how to stream video on our cameras and DVR/NVRs over rtsp. This is the only stream we support and we know it has been proven to stream. To use either the sub stream or the main stream the only thing it changes is a 0 for main Stream and 1 for Sub Stream in the code.
