The unit was working fine then it was unplugged and plugged back in and now all I have is 4 black screens on the screen. The unit will not respond to anything now. I cannot access any of the menu it is just frozen

Was the unit shut down properly before being unplugged? Try shutting unit down, unplugging the hard drive, and then turning it back on. If the menu comes back up, shut the unit down properly, plug drive back in, and then boot back up.

I have tried that and I am still having the same problem. If I plug into another hdmi port all get a check signal cable or input on my tv. I have tried as well going throw the vga and I still have the prompt on the screen. Please help
