So after days of ripping my hair out in frustration trying to figure out why I was just getting a blank page with no activx popup or anything when trying to access my dvr remotely, I somehow came across this FAQ on the Lorex website.
http://www.securitycameraking……ows-ie-11/
Apparently something(s) changed in IE11 so changing the settings to prompt activX plugins and running it as an administrator will still yield just a blank page or just html coding or whatever. Now you need to add the dvr ip address to the compatibility view list on IE11. This fixed my problem with not being able to access both my lorex and security camera king dvr.
I did not find anything about this in the support manuals here so Just a heads up if anyone’s having trouble connecting.
