I just downloaded Techpross lite on my Iphone and when I view the cameras it is showing the wrong colors. I am only seeing blues, blacks and whites.  People are showing up blue, yellow floor tiles show up blue.  Any ideas on why this is happening or how to fix.  I deleted the app and reinstalled and got the same thing.  I also logged onto my cameras via a computer through web service and it shows the correct full color on that.

What do you mean?  I have an Iphone 5 I did not do the Ios7.1.2 update.  Is that what you mean?  Maybe I need to upgradre to that os before it would work?

Are you having the same issue using web service outside the network or internally at the DVR/NVR? If not then I would try uninstalling and reinstalling the Techpross app.

Since it is not happening at the recorder or via web service the issue has to be a setting in the phone/app or bad app install.  Check to make sure you didn't tweak any of the color settings in the app.  Some versions of the app have the ability to change settings for each device that they connect to.  It generally looks like the symbol for an artists paint tray.

I am not having the issue at the PC level with web service.  I did uninstall and reinstall the app. All I did was delete the app then reinstall.  Is there a better way to uninstall and reinstall?  I played with the artists tray symbol a little and if I go one direction my oragnes go more and more blue and if I go the other direction my yellows start to come out but they are neon yell and oranges are still blue.  Blacks and whites are fine.

Hi, 

The best way to approach this issue is for you to allow us to get to your NVR remotely when possible. We can login to the NVR and take a look at it. It might be something related to the extra stream settings or something, maybe you change the sub stream encoding to MJPEG instead of H.264 and that could cause an issue. let us know

I am trying to take a snapshot of my camera image but it says Prompt Data Unavailable.  It will not let me take a snapshot.  It does however let me record.  It does not look like there is a way in the app to send the recording to my email or save it.  As for the other responses.  Getting into my NVR and changing settings of sub stream to MJPEG instead of H.264 you are starting to get over my head.  Not sure if your talking about changing settings on my phone or on my DVR at the location.  I assume DVR at the location. I can change those settings if you tell me what to look for.

Before using this app I was using icamviewer and it was working.  I deleted that app and installed this one because I read about it on the website when i bought a new system.

Hi pilaf, what is the DVR model you have also if you go to your DVR settings and look for the encode page just make sure that the sub stream/extra stream is set to H.264.
