I have a customer that has a PC based DVR that uses a legacy Digiop version 7. I was able to get the legacy remote management software and currently works, but I would like to use the SmartPSS software since it is more efficient and less cumbersome. I have tried several different ports with no luck. I have attached an image with the ports for version 8-9. Any suggestions?network-ports.JPGImage Enlarger

Hello there! Wow, you have a Digiop! I haven't heard about that DVR in years! Oh the memories..

To answer your question, SmartPSS is not going to be compatible with your DVR unfortunately.

I am not sure if you were using Digiop Center software before, but it was the only one that will work with your system.  Unless they changed the name of it at some point.  Sorry to disappoint! SmartPSS will work on all of our recorders though.  If you ever upgrade the system give our sales guys a yell.  We have afforable options available!

Thank you Jessica.

Since Digiop doesn't support the smart phone viewing with Version 7, they do with Version 8 and above. What I may have to do is setup up the legacy remote management software on the workstation PC, then setup remote viewing software for their PC. This would be able to use a smart phone to connect to their PC and view the cameras. This is redundant but it works.
