Description
This is a 16 channel Elite series NVR with 16 ports of standard PoE and 8 of those supporting ePoE and capable of supplying data and power up to 800m or almost half a mile. We love the versatility of this NVR and how perfect it is for so many different security scenarios. When it comes to HD recording, this NVR is capable of recording resolutions as high as 12MP and still as low as 1MP for those of you that aren’t ready to go full 4K already! There’s a maximum 320Mbps incoming bandwidth but with a Quad Core Processor and the embedded Linux OS, this standalone security recorder will be capable of handling the large amount of data generated by up to 16 Ultra HD cameras. Thanks to the compatibility with the ONVIF 2.4 protocol, this NVR will be able to work with numerous 3rd party IP Network cameras.
You’ll be able to view your video live and during playback using either an HDMI or VGA connection and you’ll be able to view up to 4 channels at 8MP resolution on HDMI. Imagine being able to see details 4x your average 2MP/1080p camera! Digitally zoom recorded video to see tattoos, facial details, monetary transactions, playing cards, license plates, etc. It’s much easier to identify a criminal and prove wrongdoing if you can actually see something that can be used as a positive identifier. Besides, now you can really put that 4K television to use!
There are a number of features put this NVR at the top of its class. ANR or Automatic Network Replenishment will trigger storage of video data to an IP camera’s SD card when there is a network loss and the NVR will automatically download the video once the network connection is renewed. The NVR has IVS or Intelligent Video System capabilities that allow for triggers based on a wide range of Smart features including Tripwire, Intrusion Detection, Missing and Abandoned Object Detection, Face Detection and even People Counting capabilities.
Using the latest H.265+ video compression codec, video data will be processed more efficiently with a reduction in bit rate and storage requirements that are up to 70% less than the previous H.265 standard. With room for 2 hard drives up to 8TB each, you’ll have plenty of space to save your footage and you can also plug a removable flash drive into the USB port for temporary or additional storage. When you use the dropdown tab up above to add hard drives to your purchase, we will install, configure, and test them before we send your NVR to you!

I have used 8 different NVRs in the past couple of years but this model is a head and shoulder above all so far. This unit is so quite that I did not believe it was on.
