The IPOB-ELS5IRZA-AI-EP is a 5 megapixel (2592 × 1944) bullet style camera from our Elite series of security equipment. It has a 2.7mm to 13.5mm motorized varifocal lens which allows you to customize the camera’s view. It can give you a shot that is short and wide, long and narrow, or anywhere in between. This camera also uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to better understand the area where it’s installed.
The facial detection feature is used to capture facial images and store them from the camera’s video or other digital sources. The AI’s analytical algorithms are used to identify faces through the scrutiny of six characteristics. These identifying features are age, glasses, mask for the mouth area, facial hair, gender, and expression (including normalcy, surprise, sad, rage, happy, disgusted, frightened and confused.
One of the more advanced features of this is the new Enhanced Power Over Ethernet (EPOE) technology. For years, the standard POE technology limited POE transmission to 328 feet. The new ePOE allows for a maximum distance of 2,624 feet. This really gives you freedom on how you can disperse your cameras in a wider area.
Starlight technology is another advanced feature of this camera. It allows the camera to make better use of ambient lighting in an area to stay in color mode at lower illumination levels and it can actually see into the darker portions of a camera’s view. This is combined with other features like True WDR (120 dB) and Back Light Compensation in order to let this camera handle a wide range of lighting conditions.
When this camera is set to 2.7 mm you can detect objects at approximately 210 feet, observe objects at approximately 85 feet, recognize people at approximately 43 feet, and identify people at approximately 20 feet.
When this camera is set to 12 mm you can detect objects at approximately 696 feet, observe objects at approximately 279 feet, recognize people at approximately 138 feet, and identify people at approximately 69 feet.
