This switch has the new ePoE capabilities on ports 1-8 and when paired with one of our new ePoE model cameras in the Elite series, you will have the ability to transmit power and data at 10Mbps up to 800 meters and at 100Mbps up to 300 meters! Ports one and two can support Hi-PoE @60w, all other ports will support standard PoE with a maximum PoE budget of 360W for all 24 ports. Also included are 2 gigabit Ethernet uplinks and 2 fiber SFP module uplinks available for fiber runs at 1000mbps.

You will be able to create VLANs through the individual port management and assign DHCP to multiple networks, granting permissions for access from a main network. This will enable the bandwidth being used across multiple networks as well as enhance the security of your surveillance system. Also supported are, PoE power consumption, PoE on/off, power down when exceeding the value of overload power, PoE event statics, Green PoE, and Legacy Support. The POE-24MB2GC-ML2EP also can support IP/MAC address binding based on each port. This means the IP Address the camera has will always be assigned to the camera’s network MAC address. There are many advanced settings you can use to manage a network through this switch and it is well worth it if you are looking for structure. If you aren’t looking for anything special, this switch can be used unmanaged like any other switch.
