The HDVD-ELE2IR28 is an Elite series vandal dome that provides a 1080P (1920 x 1080) resolution at 30 frames per second. It has a 2.8mm fixed lens, allowing for a clear view over a vast area. These were designed so that you can use your current coaxial cabling with the camera to provide HD video. That means that you could easily upgrade a pre-existing analog camera system without having to replace the cabling. This camera is also a Quad Camera so, it is compatible with HD-CVI, HD-TVI, AHD and Analog video formats that can be easily changed through the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu.

This camera is perfect for either indoor or outdoor use due to its resilient design. It has an IP67 rating that protects it from moisture and dust penetration and an IK10 impact rating to keep it from getting damaged when it is dropped or being hit. Lastly, it has a 4 kV lightning rating which helps to protect the camera and its housing from lighting strikes.

Smart IR technology helps this camera to work optimally in situations with little to no visible illumination up to 98 feet. The feature regulates the strength of the IR (Infrared) in order to adjust for the distance of an object in the camera’s view. This prevents the object from being over or under illuminated. The camera also has white balance and motion detection, Digital Wide Dynamic Range, Back-Light Compensation and Head-Light Compensation to balance out the image in challenging lighting conditions.

Another great feature of this camera is the fact that it can transmit in real-time over large distances without any loss in quality. This means you could potentially transmit over 2624 feet in 1080p or 3937 feet in 720p with coaxial cable. If you’d prefer UTP cabling, you can transmit over 984 feet in 1080p or 1476 feet in 720p.
