The IPVD-ELS8IR28A-EP is an 8MP (3840×2160) vandal dome camera with a 2.8mm fixed lens from our Elite series of cameras and you can be confident that it will give you an image with enough detail to identify a perpetrator in any situation. With an IP67 weather rating, a vandal resistance rating of IK10, and 6KV lightning rating for protection against lightning standards, this camera will work great for almost any environment indoors or outdoors.

This camera features the new ePoE technology that when paired with an ePoE recorder or an EP0E switch, you will be able to transmit data and supply power to the camera over 2600 feet at the speed of 10Mbps or 980 feet at the speed of 100Mbps using Cat5 or Cat6 Ethernet cable. Compatible recorders will allow you to use the newest H.265+ compression but it’s also backwards compatible with H.265, H.264, and H.264+. This camera also come equipped with IVS (Intelligent Video Surveillance) settings such as Tripwire, Intrusion, and Abandoned/Missing objects which are all added security features that can be used to trigger events for recording. The recordings by IVS are much more effective than the standard motion detection recordings, giving you significantly less false records.

Also included on the camera pigtail are 1 RCA audio input and 1 RCA audio output so you can have 2 way communication and 1 alarm input and 1 alarm output which can be set to trigger an alarm based on an event. Adding even more value to this camera is the Starlight™ smart IR technology which will allow for sharper images at night and with enough ambient lighting you may be able to see in full color at night. This camera can also record to a Micro SD card up to 128gb.

This camera has some great software features including WDR (120db), Day/Night (ICR), 3DNR, AWB, AGC, and BLC. This camera is ONVIF, CGI, and PSIA compliant and can be used with any of our NVR recorders. With all these great hardware and software features on this camera, you will be very happy with the images you are recording in any situation. Software for this camera is free and can be downloaded from our website. For PC and Mac you can view this camera on Smart PSS and for Android and iOS, you can use the Elite Viewer Pro application which can be downloaded through the Google play store or Apple store.
