Do you have a situation that a traditional line-cross IVS rule cannot properly address? Perhaps you have an old DVR without any analytics, an installation that would require more IVS rules than your recorder can support? Do you have a camera over an external door and only want alerts when someone goes through the doorway? The BEAM-AL3B200 can shoot an infrared beam at up to 200m (656ft) to trigger the alarm input of any DVR, Camera or alarm system. Take advantage of the alarm inputs of cameras and recorders to trigger recording, mobile notifications and computer software pop-ups whenever the infrared beam that is between a pair of beams is interrupted. This weatherproof triple lens design is fast (50-700ms detect speed with a near instantaneous 40ms trigger time) and accurate. The BEAM-AL3B200 requires very little power, consuming only 100mA of 12-24V DC power. This will allow you to split off camera power without affecting camera performance in the slightest or install your beam from up to 189m (620 ft) from its power source using AWG22 cable from a 12v power source. Please note during installation that each beam will require a power source. Its simple NO/NC alarm output works with any alarm input, allowing it to be used creatively on a diverse range of devices (you can even use it as a RTE on an access control system.)
