Introducing the PENDVR-EL16M4K-AI3, a 1U sized 4K capable Hybrid DVR with 16 BNC channels, which are convertible over to IP channels. The unit also has 16 native IP channels for a total of 32 Camera Channels. It has 2 Slots for Hard Disks as well for all the storage you need.

This unit can accept COAX inputs from any of the four video signal types commonly used today, CVI, TVI, AHD, and CVBS, and is able to detect which signal is incoming and automatically adjust accordingly.

While able to do true 4k at 7 FPS via COAX, this unit also features the 4KN resolution standard. This means it can accept a full incoming 4k signal over COAX, but it is able to encode at a slightly reduced horizontal resolution in order to reach 15 FPS for far smoother images than ever before, with little to no perceived loss in image quality.

Alongside its high-resolution capabilities, the PENDVR-EL16M4K-AI3 also features AI-aided h265 encoding. This means that the unit can push compression capabilities beyond that of h264, or non-AI aided h265 at very little to no image loss. The result is a better picture with a smaller hard drive footprint.

Equipped with SMD Plus, also known as “Smart Motion Detection”, the PENDVR-EL16M4K-AI3 utilizes intelligent algorithm-based motion detection software to filter out unwanted information leaving you with far fewer false alerts. This is usable across all 16 COAX channels.

Additionally, this Recorder can perform onboard IVS perimeter protection via intrusion box and tripwire on two COAX channels with up to 10 rules per channel.

Another AI feature, face detection, can be performed on 2 channels with up to 12 images each and can be compared to up to 10 different databases for a total of 20,000 face images across these databases.
