The NVR-EL32-4KAI is an extremely advanced 32 channel Network Video Recorder (NVR) from our Elite series of surveillance equipment that supports up to 16-megapixel cameras. It uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to provide some state of the art features. This recorder can make use of Smart H.265+, H.265, Smart H.264+ or H.264 video compression technology to minimize the amount of bandwidth and storage required while maintaining the quality of the video.

The Artificial Intelligence capabilities of this device allow for the implementation of some truly innovative technologies. These technologies can isolate or target people and vehicles, as opposed to animals and blowing objects. It can drastically increase motion detection accuracy by filtering out the unwanted source of motions like lighting changes, animals or plants.

This NVR’s AI also increases facial recognition in meaningful ways. Not only is the detection improved but it’s possible to apply filters to search the database based on facial features like facial hair, glasses, gender and/ or age. This will make searching the databases much easier and quicker by only showing faces with the selected features.

Pair this unit with a thermal camera or camera with advanced IVS feature to activate and use the perimeter protection available. You will be able to accurately detect when an unwanted person or vehicle enters your premises and react more effectively, without the false alarms of normal systems. This is very useful when protecting gated communities, storage facilities, and other properties with a barrier to prevent intrusion.

This database is bigger, faster and can be applied in more inventive ways. The databases can hold up to 100,000 faces and it can search up to 24 faces per second. Once a face has been added to the database then other information can be added to it. This includes address, nationality, name, birthday and gender.

Stranger mode is able to detect if a new face (not in the database) is on camera and notify you. This can activate a buzzer, alarm, taking a snapshot and/or recording video. This feature can be manually fine-tuned for an environment to maximize its effectiveness.

Searching through recorded footage is also aided by the AI in meaningful ways. A face can be uploaded to the NVR and then it is possible to search the recordings to see where and when the person of interest appeared on camera.

Automatic Number Plate Recognition is another feature supported by this NVR. It is a great way to track entrance and exit of vehicles by tracking the license plates. Plates can be imported from recorded video or manually uploaded.

This NVR has 8 SATA ports to allow for up to 80TB of storage capacity on the inside, as well it offers an eSATA port for extra external storage capabilities when paired with a compatible eSATA device.

The NVR is also ONVIF 2.4 compliant for accepting 3rd party cameras to work as well it is SDK and CGI compliant for better cross-brand functionality. It is always highly recommended to stick within the same series of cameras and recorders for the absolute best functionality, as firmware upgrades can oftentimes ruin the compatibility of 3rd party compatibility.
