The camera itself is small enough that you can easily put it somewhere inconspicuous or make it blend in so it won’t be so easy to see. We suggest you check on your local laws before placing these anywhere that might be deemed questionable.

This is a 2 piece unit that is comprised of a 2.8mm lens and a controller that supports Smart H.265+/H.264+ compression, real-time 30fps 4MP resolution, true WDR and even an onboard Micro SD slot capable of holding a 128Gb card. The lens is connected to the controller unit with the included 8 meter (26 foot) cable and then the controller is connected to your NVR with your supplied CAT5/6 network cable!

The 2.8mm fixed lens is great if you need a wide view of a large open area but this camera is best suited for smaller areas where you need to be less conspicuous and need detail that a 4MP camera will deliver. Think about a small retail store where it’s easy to hide behind a shelf or a rack and steal something. With bigger cameras, it’s easier for a criminal to see where the camera is and move out of its view. The controller unit can be hidden from view and the cable can be run to the camera that can be placed strategically for the maximum effect!
