The POEEXT-OUTDOOR is a waterproof inline POE extender which will add an extra 300ft of POE. You can add 4 in a row to get up to 1500ft.
This device takes the power from the POE switch at the head end. The switch can be 30W or 60W but a 30W POE will mean there is only half the power that could be available. If you use a 60W you get 50W at the end split between the cameras. If you use a 30W you get 25W at the end split between the cameras.
This device is passive so power is needed. It will get its power from the POE switch at the head end of the cable run.
