We have a brand new 1080p Hybrid DVR capable of accepting up to 5MP cameras, this is the PENDVR-ELE8ME-AI3. This is a 1U 1 hard drive bay unit so make sure to max that out to 10TB!

This recorder is great for customers with existing 1080p installations looking to upgrade some of their equipment while utilizing most of their existing hardware, maybe begin transitioning to IP cameras, and expand into the future too. It is also equipped with AI features such as real-time facial recognition, smart motion detection (SMD+), and IVS based perimeter protection.

For COAX connections, this recorder has 8 inputs. While its native resolution is 1080p, it can actually accept COAX cameras up to 5MP, and utilize a resolution called 5M-N. This allows the cameras to record at full vertical 5MP resolution, but slightly reduced horizontal resolution for very little loss in image quality compared to full 5MP, but still greater than 1080p.

This recorder can accept an additional 4 IP cameras on top of its 8 coaxial connections. These IP cameras can be up to 6 MP. If you end up expanding into all IP, all 8 coaxial channels can be converted to IP for a total of up to 12 IP cameras.

This recorder can do AI features for a single channel, and you can choose whichever AI feature you’d like to use.

The PENDVR-ELE8ME-AI3 can utilize its AI channel for comparing captured face metadata to one of the face images in up to 10,000 pictures across a max of 10 total individual databases. The attributes it can compare are gender, age, expression, glasses, mustache, and face mask.

With SMD+ and AI aided IVS perimeter protection, you’ll be able to either set motion detection rules or tripwire/intrusion box rules which ignore targets that are not people or vehicles, greatly eliminating false alerts!

The Recorder supports the newest in AI-aided h265 video compression encoding. This means a more than 60% gain at recording high resolutions over its older h264 counterpart. More footage, better picture, no compromises!
