Description
The POEEXT-OUTDOOR-4 is an outdoor switch (It is not waterproof) which takes a single POE and can split it into 4 separate POE runs, each up to 300ft.
This device take the power from the POE switch at the head end. The switch can be 30W or 60W but a 30W POE will mean there is only half the power that could be available. If you use a 60W you get 50W at the end split between the cameras. If you use a 30W you get 25W at the end split between the cameras.
This device is passive so power is not needed. It will get it’s power from the POE switch at the head end of the cable run.
