We’ve been waiting for the new 4MP IP Network bullet security surveillance camera from our ELITE series but it’s here now and it delivers some beautiful images! The image quality and clarity is amazing and will allow you to see detail that is a step up from even 2MP/1080p. Imagine being able to digitally zoom in on video of a crime being committed seeing things such as tattoos, scars and other small details that might help to catch criminals and successfully prosecute them. This tiny bullet packs a ton of features beyond the 4MP Image Sensor.
The IPOB-ELE4IR28 ELITE SERIES Network IP Camera is a new addition to the IP camera family. This bullet style camera is capable of 4MP resolutions. It is also backwards compatible with 3MP, 2MP (1080P), and 1MP (720P) resolutions. Because of the resolution flexibility it can work with older NVRs at the lower resolutions.
This camera has the ability to see and display color in low light conditions of .1LUX or 1/10th of a candle. Anything less and the camera switches to black and white mode and now sees in total darkness. The infra red LED light cluster allows you to see up to 100 feet in the darkness.
Our ELITE IP Camera supports the ONVIF protocol. The Open Source protocol makes the camera compatible with many other 3rd party NVRs for even greater flexibility of installations. ONVIF 2.4 or Profile S is supported.
Weather is always a constant here. This camera is rated to withstand dust, rain, and wind conditions. All you need to do is take care to make the ethernet and dc connectors watertight during installation and the camera itself will stand up to the rest. The camera is very durable to temperatures as well. It boasts -4 degrees F to 122 degrees F temperature swings without having to cool or heat camera.
There are two different methods of powering this camera. This camera supports the POE 802.3af standard. Power over ethernet standard allows for DATA communication and POWER to be transmitted and received over ethernet cable. POE eliminates the need to run 12VDC cables. You only need one ethernet cable Cat 5 cable to single cameras. If you do not know your environment use SHIELDED Cat 5 cable. Un-shielded cat5 cable is susceptible to interference.
The other method of POWER is 12VDC. You would need two wires for that as there is positive and negative poles.
